A superb personalized Washi tea box

At Esprit Céladon, we are pleased to reveal the magnificent Washi tea box personalized by artist Sophie Uliana for the tea factory in Lyon . Sophie has created a unique pattern representing a Japanese crane, screen printing in a black background, which perfectly dresses a Washi paper box .
Washi paper, traditionally handcrafted in Japan, is ideal for adding a touch of elegance and refinement to everyday objects. This fine but robust material allows the artist to play with textures and patterns. The choice of gold on a black background creates a striking contrast, while the Japanese crane, a symbol of peace and longevity, brings a poetic dimension to the whole.
The screen printing of this motif was carried out by a Lyonnais serigraphy workshop, strengthening the artisanal and local aspect of this creation. This collaboration underlines the commitment to quality know-how, while supporting craftsmen from the region.
This personalized Washi tea box highlights the union between crafts and contemporary design, making each tea box a unique work of art. The collaboration with the tea factory in Lyon highlights the importance of authenticity and know-how in the creation of exceptional products.
